Mei 2010 berkas paling lambat sudah dikumpulkan. Selama satu bulan
lebih menunggu pengumuman lulus dokumen atau tidak, saya pakai untuk
persiapan tes tulis yaitu belajar bahasa inggris dan bahasa Jepang.
Soal-soal tahun kemarin saya download dan persiapan presentasi untuk
wawancara. Sebegitu yakinkah saya untuk sampai tahap lulus dokumen?
Entahlah, ketika itu, saya
sudah tidak lagi memikirkan mengenai hasilnya. Jarak antara pengumuman
kelulusan dokumen dengan tes tulis dan wawancara hanya satu minggu,
daripada kewalahan nanti, jadi dicicil dari awal.
Senin
21 Juni 2010, Allah memberi kesempatan saya lagi untuk maju ke tahap
selanjutnya. Ada 100 pelamar yang terpilih dalam seleksi dokumen. Kata
pihak kedutaan, tahun ini pelamar yang apply beasiswa ini paling banyak
diantara tahun-tahun sebelumnya sekitar 800 pelamar.
Tes Tulis Senin 28 Juni 2010
Diselenggarakan
di Pusat Studi Bahasa Jepang UI Depok. Tes tulis ini berupa tes bahasa
Inggris dan Tes Bahasa Jepang. Untuk jurusan di luar bahasa Jepang jika
tidak bisa menjawab boleh tidak mengisi soal bahasa Jepang. Ujian bahasa
Inggris tipe soalnya sama dengan tahun-tahun sebelumnya, untuk ujian
bahasa Jepang soal-soalnya setaraf dengan level 4 dan 3 atau level dasar.
Persiapan Wawancara
Pertanyaan-pertanyaan yang akan ditanyakan saat wawancara ada di forum Japan reference Jref Forum (forum
ini ada bagian mengenai beasiswa monbukagakusho, jadi para pelamar
monbukagakusho dari berbagai Negara share di forum ini.

2. Why do you want to study in Japan? / Why are you interested in Japan?
3. Why studying Japanese?
4. What do you know about Japanese Culture?
5. Why is your research important? / How will your project benefit to Japan, your country or to the world?
6. Why is it important for you to conduct your research in Japan? / Why did you choose Japan to study this topic? / Which Japanese schools you want to go to? / Why did you choose this professor?
7. Have you contacted any professors / universities?
8. Previous experience with Japan
9. Explain the research theme you submitted, why this theme? / What do you want to study? / Explain research proposal
10. Studying in Japan involves a lot of stress and pressure, do you feel you can handle it and how will you go about once there? / What kind of challenges might exist for you in Japan and how will you tackle them?
11. How you are going to improve the diplomatic/cultural/scientific relationship between Japan and your own country?
12. What do you intend to do after returning to your country / What’s your future plan?

Sebelum
pengumuman kelulusan saya sudah hapal point-point apa saja yang akan
saya sampaikan. Sebelum ke Bandung, saya sempatkan untuk presentasi
kurang lebih 5 menit di depan staf pengajar dan mahasiswa kampus yang
berperan sebagai juri. Setelah. Di Bandung saya latihan dengan marutani sensei (terima kasih buat staf pengajar
dan mahasiswa Cirebon serta marutani sensei atas kesediaan waktunya).
Gunanya latihan wawancara di depan orang-orang yang memahami bahasa
jepang agar kita mengetahu kira-kira pertanyaan apa yang akan
dilontarkan oleh mereka setelah mendengarkan presentasi saya. Kurang
lebih bisa menjadi gambaran mengenai pertanyaan-pertanyaan dari Para
Juri selain referensi dari forum J-Ref Tentunya.
